According to the regulation, work in open areas will be prohibited from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm during the summer. This measure is aimed at protecting workers from the risks associated with extreme heat during peak daytime temperatures.
The ministry’s Occupational Safety and Health Department has been running a campaign throughout May to raise awareness about heat stress and prevention. The initiative emphasizes the importance of safe working conditions and the health and safety of all outdoor workers.
