Doha, Qatar – Qatar Post announced on January 29, 2025, the issuance of a new postage stamp in collaboration with Katara Cultural Village. This special stamp celebrates the rich heritage of Arabian horses in Qatari culture.
The stamp, titled “Katara: The City of Cultural Heritage for Arabian Horses,” is currently available at the Philately Office of the General Post Building. It will soon be accessible online at http://qatarpostsouq.com.
Priced at QR 5, the stamp features authentic images of Arabian horses, symbolizing the historic significance and esteemed status of these majestic animals in Qatari culture. The release is part of the Katara Arabian Horse Festival, an annual event dedicated to showcasing and preserving Qatar’s rich cultural heritage.
