The Ministry of Labour has announced a three-day paid holiday for private sector employees in observance of Eid Al Adha 2025.
The Ministry also clarified that any work carried out during the holiday must comply with the provisions for overtime compensation and allowances, as stipulated in Article (74) of the Labour Law. Employers are required to adhere to these regulations to ensure employees receive the appropriate entitlements for holiday work.

The official dates of the Eid holiday will be confirmed based on the moon sighting, in accordance with Islamic tradition.
